My love of reading and writing began at a young age. Over the years, my life and career have taken many different paths — but writing is the one aspect that has remained a solid guidepost.

I'm one of those rare individuals born and raised in Northern California. I love words, and travel, and am only happy living within range of ocean breezes.

I've never been one to follow the normal path — preferring instead to make and follow my own timeline. University came after a first career, motherhood came later in life.
